Mission Opportunities

God calls us to do more than simply receive God's love. God calls us to serve others with the love of Christ. We offer many opportunities in our community and around the world to regularly engage in missions and share the love of God.

Community Missions

Whether it is participating in food drives, putting together shoeboxes for Samaritan's Purse, or supporting local ministries, Grace Hills is always a church on a mission!

Good Neighbor Information and Help Center

The Good Neighbor Center is an outreach mission of Grace Hills that seeks to provide assistance in our community. With the goal of bringing people and services together in the Appomattox Community, The Good Neighbor Center is located at 2160 Church Street. Assistance may be sought by visiting the center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-4 PM or leaving a message at 434-664-2121.

Partnership Missions

In partnership with the Baptist General Association of Virginia, Grace Hills has participated in mission efforts around the world. Notable partnerships have included the Precious Children's Home in India, the Standing Rock Indian Reservation in North and South Dakota, More than Nets with BGAV, and Project Ruth to assist Ukrainian refugees. The church was blessed to send overseas mission teams to Panama and Ghana.

Youth Outreach

Youth from Grace Hills has participated in efforts to serve others through work in the Clarksville area, Lynchburg Area Food Bank, and other local ministry efforts, including BGAV summer missions.
